this night there was a taifun in anang, tearing off trees, billboards,etc.. on our building site it riped off the plans and broke down some furniture and plants.
nevertheless, we continue.
the farmers storage turns out really nice shake (schindel) wall and roof.

today: same same but different. construction company raised up the tower (not everything as planned..) and our 10 students came for the second day and were twice as effective as yesterday! we built with them together mini-frames for the rabbit house, made the floor for the farmers storage, the shelf and the window frames for the greenhouse.

incredible! the construction company started with the steel beams today and beamed the structure up in high speed!!
also a lot of highschool students came to build and will come again tomorow. we built with them a shelf in the greenhouse, a mobile table and two chaise bordelaise, and prepared the duck and rabbit drawings for the signs (we will have a little pet farm).

the info-team helped the mother and the girl that already built 2 children chairs building a small book holder. the girl came to me with a...

the rain is the bane of todays workshop…
twice we had to stop and take away all the tools, unplug the cables while water streams flooded the area so that only a small island in the middle of the plazza wasn’t flooded. still we could be productive. this morning, after a difficult start, the new volunteers insulated the front wall of suzanne lacy’s house...

the workshop began with a group of teenagers (volunteers). they finally built a “chaise bordelaise” and painted the sign for the rabbit house and the view point.
also the neighbor who is coming almost every day finished the shelf he is working on since a while. (and by the way he built 2 small stools)
after, still a lot of people came: a mother with 4 kids from...

the gardener came and planted mint. as i asked him if he has a rule where to cut them (the propagates) he told me “there is no rule, my heart tells me how to do it”.

the carpenters built a lot (!) of frames, we got new wood and the construction company finaly started with the work and set up the fence for their building site.
i had some technical problems today with the camera battery, sorry for the cuts… i would have loved to have the part were the construction company set up the fence in the background for example.
